KB pistons. 600$. Ordered almost a month ago.

Sunday (when it was supposed to ship) comes, nothing. Call today “Ill send this to ~ and they will call the manufacturer. Someone will call you or email you later. 9:30 at night: nothing.

Update: definetly shopping at jegs next time. Just got an email today that they are backordered till october. This information only available after multiple phone calls. Which means the machine shop won’t probably be done till november. Which means that either I will freeze my ass off, or the engine will sit all winter (defeating the purpose of having the machine shop break it in). Or I could just order stock pistons. At least the shop is ok with letting it sit till then.
Clearly my business isn’t important. THE ESTIMATED SHIP DATE IS STILL TOMORROW

That’s a pain in the ass. I have never had anything but good luck with Summit. And they always meet or beat the shipping estimate.

Already ahead of you. UEM says they are starting a run... right now. won’t be in till october. Expect the machine shop to take another month. Mind you, I’m working out of my parent’s driveway which means that the engine is going to sit all winter, or I am going to get very cold.
So summit lied. and it took me calling them several times over a month to find that out.

That is the only high compression piston made for my engine. otherwise it’s stock pistons. I did cancel it and I’m reordering from jegs.

Not a fan of Summit, TBH. The number of times I’ve put an order together only to realize their “free shipping” doesn’t include handling charges ( because apparently it is 1920) and had to find it somewhere else out of disgust is... well at least a couple.

Terms of service agreements are not a get out of jail free card, even for PayPal. File a complaint in Ohio, if the state takes it seriously, they'll deep dick Summit and PayPal. Just make sure to withdraw all your money from paypal because it is almost a sure bet they'll retaliate by closing your account.

Summits inventory online is garbage but in my experience it ships when it says on my order and the back order online is for new orders. Hope this is the case for you.
